Founded by Spenser McCoy in 2025, OneBuild was born from a lifelong belief that design and construction should work together to make people’s lives better. At a young age, his grandfather introduced him to the world of architecture and he was captivated by buildings - not just how they looked, but how they felt. He saw spaces that didn’t work for the people inside them and dreamed of finding a better way - one that was thoughtful, human, and lasting.
That vision grew into OneBuild - a company built to simplify and reimagine how people add space to their lives. From feasibility and permitting to design and installation, OneBuild handles every step under one roof, delivering clarity, accountability, and care. No hidden costs. No confusion. Just one seamless process that turns ideas into spaces that feel like home always putting the client first.

Most Hudson Valley properties can support more than the house already on them — space for an aging parent, a rental unit, a studio, a retreat. What usually stops that from happening isn't budget or desire. It's coordination: zoning that changes town to town, septic and setback limits, a municipal approval timeline nobody in the family has navigated before.
OneBuild exists to own that coordination. From feasibility through permit-ready design, we manage the parts of an ADU project that typically fall on the homeowner alone: zoning and siting analysis, model selection, and the sequence of approvals that determines whether a project is buildable at all. If a lot can't support what you're hoping to build, that's what the feasibility study is for, not something you find out six months into permitting.
We work across the full range of what this looks like in the Hudson Valley: grant-assisted builds sized to a fixed budget, and fully custom, design-led structures on private property. The scope changes. Our role doesn't — one point of contact, one process, and clear accountability for who's responsible for what, from the first conversation to a permit-ready plan.
